Summer Lovin'

Friends [:
- - -
Yes, I know, I haven't posted anything for a week. Well, I wont be for more then 2 weeks after this one. So far summer has been amazing, warm, and filled with lots of love. I'm super happy with my first week of summer and I can't wait for the rest.

Today, I drove on the freeway for the first time! I love driving fast. Just plain and simple. I'm excited for tomorrow because it is 6 months with Justin, it is supposed to be the hottest day of the week, and the pool is calling my name. On Sunday, I'm hoping to be able to go to Haight Street with Erin, Ale, and possibly Audrey. But so far, the whole getting there thing isn't working out so well. On Monday, I'll be leaving with my Oma, Opa, and sister for a 2 week-ish trip from here to Seattle, visiting cities and national parks on the way, and then from Seattle, a cruise to Alaska! I'm so excited to drive to Seattle and I really hope I'll be able to see some whales on the cruise!

Well there are 2 adoreable toddlers playing with my brother and I can hear them from here so I'm going to crash the fun and see what they are up to. Au revoir!

What Nataliano and I like to call the Garden of Eden

So I'm super tired right now and I have a lovely spotted sunburn! I wore a vest thing that has a hole-y design in the back and now I have a spotted sunburn from sitting in the sun at a graduation. I'm so lucky it doesn't hurt. It was so hot today that even after the sunburn, I just wanted to swim. I went swimming in the afternoon with Justin and at 8 ish with my sister. I'm a fishy.

Good start to summer. Good night world.

Today was the last day of school! It is summer and oh my god it was a beautiful day! First, I was lucky when I got my biotech final and realized I didn't have any chance at passing the final considering I didnt have my binder for notes when my teacher told me I didn't have to take the final. Then, in math, I think I aced my final along with 30 points of extra credit. After, I went to Justin's house for an amazing afternoon filled with swimming and Finding Nemo. I am so excited for the rest of summer!

So I'm super happy and I'm going to go sit on my porch and enjoy the weather! Bye!

Since blogspot deleted my last blog, I'm going to try to summarize it. So basically I am so pysched for Yosemite! On my way back from the amazing weekend with Justin, we saw a sign that said "Yosemite 70" and I figured out, at that moment, I was 70 days away from 70 miles. Sorry, just a random cool thing I noticed.

Vegetarianism::
Yesterday: I said something along the lines of "Yay! I haven't eaten meat and I dont want to! I'm so proud of my self! Blah blah blah blah blah I really want a huge turkey sandwhich blah blah blah."
Today: Yeah.. Turkey is tempting me. The dinner my mom is cooking has meat in it. Temptation is getting the best of me. I can't do this! I'm thinking I may just do what my friend, Audrey, does is just know where my meat comes from to make sure that the animal I'm eating lived a happy life before it was killed for me. And I may go Avatar like and thank the meat for dying so I could eat it. So technically I'm still vegetarian, but once I eat dinner. I'm done... I guess the only time it will work is when I move out and I'm able to make my own meat free food and not even have meat in the house tempting me.

So I also learned that if I get back from my trip across the country in time, I'll be able to go to Pine Mountain Lake with my dad, sister, brother and step mom. I love our cabin up there. I love the lake. I love everything about it. The pictures above are all from up there from 2 years ago. I love the Mickey Mouse loft and bathroom we have. It is such a cool place to be and, not to sound cheesy, it makes me feel so young. I love it! Then we have the game room. Complete with a mini fridge, TV, couch, pool table, bar, and pinball machine. It is so chill and I spend most of my time down there. Then there is the beautiful lake. Enough said.

Today felt like summer. It was beautiful. I forget where I heard it, but I heard "summer is a state of mind" and that's exactly how I feel. I love the feeling of summer. Today I went swimming and fixed my collages that have been falling down. I was able to hangout with friends and enjoy the nice weather and I got a tan! Tomorrow is the last day of school and I'm so excited!

Amazing Weekend. Fail Of A Blog.

That is the shadow of true love [:

Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.

I'm not the only one who thinks that's a cool car, right?

"Last night, I got back from an amazing 3 day weekend with an amazing person. With everything from sunset walks to miniature golf to making up a sound a lady bug should make. I got to be with Justin pretty much every second I wanted to be and it's so weird to sit at home now and not have him here with me." And that's all that is left from an entire blog I did before my internet decided to crash before blogspot could save it. Thanks.

Banana Pancakes- Jack Johnson

I was making breakfast when I looked outside and saw this.
Look familiar? The lovely Audrey Inglis.
The same rainbow.

Yesterday, I said I'd blog again and as you can see, that failed. But I'm sure no one reads this anyway so I'm technically babbling to myself, but hey, babbling is good.
[enter]
So yesterday was day 1 of being a vegetarian. I've tried this twice before and it has majorly failed before and I don't have much confidence in this, but let's just see how long it is before my mom makes something I can't resist to eat. What made me decide to be a vegetarian is that my world studies class watched a horrible video about the animals in slaughter houses and I couldn't eat anything after, much less meat. I'm just trying my best to ignore meat and see how that plays out.
[enter]
Today was day 2 and so far it isn't too bad, but I don't eat a lot of meat as it is. I'm super tempted to go make a huge turkey sandwhich right now, but I won't let temptation get the best of me. For me, I'm always consciously thinking about how I can't eat something so I have this weird feeling in my stomach and I crave meat. I'm trying so hard just to ignore it, but this blog isn't really helping. I'm planning on blogging about my vegetarianism and talk about the difficulties of not eating meat.
[enter]
On a less food related note, this morning I was making breakfast when I looked out my window and saw the rainbow that is above. It was so bright and so close. It was so cool that I had to grab my camera. Unfortunatley my camera didn't capture the colors as well as I had hoped, so those pictures are edited, but only so I could show the beauty of what I saw. Not only was it beautiful, but I saw that rainbow move. As you can see, it was behind a hill, but I watched that rainbow crawl over the hill and closer to me. It was the coolest thing ever. I really wish I knew how rainbows were actually formed. They are so cool and beautiful.
[enter]
So I'm super excited for this weekend and the slow reorganization of my room! The reorganizing is so much messy work so I'm actually going to go to work on that. Adios!

If you're vaguely attracted to rooftops,

Cause she can't tell that its a winding spiral case.

Or upside-down?

This Is What I Do In Photography

Since I wasn't able to post yesterday, I'm doing it now while I have time in photography. I'll probably post again later, but this is for now.
[enter]
So today I woke up happy because I have a presentation about the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, I'm so excited for Friday and the cabin, school is almost over, I knew I'd be getting a peppermint mocha which is now in my hand, and the sun is up in a cloud free sky. Also, I'm not leaving for my trip across the states until the day after my 6 months with Justin. I'm so happy!
[enter]
So I need to start scanning my 35mm photos so I can turn them in to form a portfolio. I'll post again in about 12 hours!
