Since blogspot deleted my last blog, I'm going to try to summarize it. So basically I am so pysched for Yosemite! On my way back from the amazing weekend with Justin, we saw a sign that said "Yosemite 70" and I figured out, at that moment, I was 70 days away from 70 miles. Sorry, just a random cool thing I noticed.

Vegetarianism::
Yesterday: I said something along the lines of "Yay! I haven't eaten meat and I dont want to! I'm so proud of my self! Blah blah blah blah blah I really want a huge turkey sandwhich blah blah blah."
Today: Yeah.. Turkey is tempting me. The dinner my mom is cooking has meat in it. Temptation is getting the best of me. I can't do this! I'm thinking I may just do what my friend, Audrey, does is just know where my meat comes from to make sure that the animal I'm eating lived a happy life before it was killed for me. And I may go Avatar like and thank the meat for dying so I could eat it. So technically I'm still vegetarian, but once I eat dinner. I'm done... I guess the only time it will work is when I move out and I'm able to make my own meat free food and not even have meat in the house tempting me.

So I also learned that if I get back from my trip across the country in time, I'll be able to go to Pine Mountain Lake with my dad, sister, brother and step mom. I love our cabin up there. I love the lake. I love everything about it. The pictures above are all from up there from 2 years ago. I love the Mickey Mouse loft and bathroom we have. It is such a cool place to be and, not to sound cheesy, it makes me feel so young. I love it! Then we have the game room. Complete with a mini fridge, TV, couch, pool table, bar, and pinball machine. It is so chill and I spend most of my time down there. Then there is the beautiful lake. Enough said.

Today felt like summer. It was beautiful. I forget where I heard it, but I heard "summer is a state of mind" and that's exactly how I feel. I love the feeling of summer. Today I went swimming and fixed my collages that have been falling down. I was able to hangout with friends and enjoy the nice weather and I got a tan! Tomorrow is the last day of school and I'm so excited!

Amazing Weekend. Fail Of A Blog.

That is the shadow of true love [:

Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.

I'm not the only one who thinks that's a cool car, right?

"Last night, I got back from an amazing 3 day weekend with an amazing person. With everything from sunset walks to miniature golf to making up a sound a lady bug should make. I got to be with Justin pretty much every second I wanted to be and it's so weird to sit at home now and not have him here with me." And that's all that is left from an entire blog I did before my internet decided to crash before blogspot could save it. Thanks.

Banana Pancakes- Jack Johnson

I was making breakfast when I looked outside and saw this.
Look familiar? The lovely Audrey Inglis.
The same rainbow.

Yesterday, I said I'd blog again and as you can see, that failed. But I'm sure no one reads this anyway so I'm technically babbling to myself, but hey, babbling is good.
[enter]
So yesterday was day 1 of being a vegetarian. I've tried this twice before and it has majorly failed before and I don't have much confidence in this, but let's just see how long it is before my mom makes something I can't resist to eat. What made me decide to be a vegetarian is that my world studies class watched a horrible video about the animals in slaughter houses and I couldn't eat anything after, much less meat. I'm just trying my best to ignore meat and see how that plays out.
[enter]
Today was day 2 and so far it isn't too bad, but I don't eat a lot of meat as it is. I'm super tempted to go make a huge turkey sandwhich right now, but I won't let temptation get the best of me. For me, I'm always consciously thinking about how I can't eat something so I have this weird feeling in my stomach and I crave meat. I'm trying so hard just to ignore it, but this blog isn't really helping. I'm planning on blogging about my vegetarianism and talk about the difficulties of not eating meat.

On a less food related note, this morning I was making breakfast when I looked out my window and saw the rainbow that is above. It was so bright and so close. It was so cool that I had to grab my camera. Unfortunatley my camera didn't capture the colors as well as I had hoped, so those pictures are edited, but only so I could show the beauty of what I saw. Not only was it beautiful, but I saw that rainbow move. As you can see, it was behind a hill, but I watched that rainbow crawl over the hill and closer to me. It was the coolest thing ever. I really wish I knew how rainbows were actually formed. They are so cool and beautiful.

So I'm super excited for this weekend and the slow reorganization of my room! The reorganizing is so much messy work so I'm actually going to go to work on that. Adios!

This Is What I Do In Photography

Since I wasn't able to post yesterday, I'm doing it now while I have time in photography. I'll probably post again later, but this is for now.

So today I woke up happy because I have a presentation about the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, I'm so excited for Friday and the cabin, school is almost over, I knew I'd be getting a peppermint mocha which is now in my hand, and the sun is up in a cloud free sky. Also, I'm not leaving for my trip across the states until the day after my 6 months with Justin. I'm so happy!

So I need to start scanning my 35mm photos so I can turn them in to form a portfolio. I'll post again in about 12 hours!

What I Really Learned in Study Hall

I'm so tired. There's no way I'm going to be able to pull myself out of bed to head to school tomorrow. I think the first day I'm out of school, I'm going to sleep all day. It sounds so lovely. I know I've said it a million times, but I really can't wait for summer. I love the heat. I love the freedom. I love clothes. I love everything. I just wish I could be on a beach in the summer. But not any beach. Either Santa Cruz, Capitola, or any southern California beach. Those are the amazing beaches with the super beachy people who ride those awesome vintage bikes I've always wanted, the legit summer clothes, and natural tans. I'd want to be there or downtown San Carlos or Palo Alto. No matter what a lot of people say about San Carlos, I love it. I've grown up there and I love all the family owned shops and the amazing resturants. And I've only been to Palo Alto three times, but each time I go, I wish I could try every resturant and check out all the cute, little shops on University Avenue. Or how could I forget Haight Street. I love Haight Street. Again, I've only been there twice, but I love everything about it. The people. The shops. The music. The aura. Everything. 8 more days of school and then let the fun begin.
[enter]
I'm so excited for my birthday! I keep reminding myself that I have 2 1/2 months before I'll be in Yosemite, but I can't wait! I already planned everything and I'm so ready to hike, bike, sight see, photograph, chill, and have fun! And the people I'm going with will make things so amazing. I'm going with my one and only cousin who I love dearly but don't see as much as I wish I could, 3 amazing friends, my sister, my mom, my 2nd mom (a friend's mom), my aunt, and possibly one of my mom's friends who I consider my aunt. Vernal Falls. Mirror lake. Lower Yosemite Falls. Yosemite Village. Curry Village.

So I should definetly start on homework and finish reorganizing my room. See ya!

Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

Finally my computer works! It wasn't working yesterday and that's why I didn't get a chance to blog. So, the first picture is of my aunt on the hike to Vernall Falls in Yosemite, which suprisingly I couldn't find a good picture of. The second one is of the place I feel least comfortable, an assignment for photography, and it's of my dad's house, but that's another story. The third picture was also for photography because it was an after school activity and I chose swimming with my coach and all in the picture. Last but definetly not least is pudding, whipped cream, and half a strawberry made specially for my 2nd mother in celebration of Other Mothers' Day yesterday (if you've seen {500} Days of Summer you probably understand).
[enter]
So I have quite a busy day ahead of me and I have to go get ready for it. Bye!
